I have a lot of technical knowhow on Videojet printers and can help those of you who need assistance. I've encountered many problems and can more than likely pinpoint your problem quickly.
Videojet Exel printers on based on old technology and rummor has it, they are now made in China instead of U.S.A. If you require a printer that is not used for a week or more at a time, the Exel series printer is NOT for you (unless you have training on this series printer and understand how it works). There are many other brands of printers out there that will beat the old Exel series printer in almost every area. I've just recently stumbled upon an amazing printer out of Germany. Kiss the XL goodbye if you happen to use this one. You won't want the XL anymore.
Well, if anyone is interested in continuing this topic, let me know.
